Ashley M. Fox is a former Wall Street analyst, a Howard University grad, and she is now an expert in her field as a Financial Education Specialist. After helping manage money for both millionaires and billionaires, during her career on Wall Street, Ashley felt that it was her God-given purpose to financially empower those Wall Street would never talk to. This passion lead her to quit her job and start her own company; EMPIFY. Empify (merging of the words EMPower and modIFY), is a financial education organization created to show both adults and children how to build wealth. Empify focuses on the creation of life-altering programs, informative digital content and interactive events curated to teach all aspects of financial education. 

Since 2014, Empify has reached thousands of individuals, and its programs have been implemented in over 50 different schools and organizations across the country.

Since leaving her Wall Street career, Ashley has used her message to educate the world as a financial contributor for Forbes, and as a profound international speaker. Ashley is now a highly sought-after financial expert who has been featured on international tours, college campuses, and keynote speaking platforms. Her work and story have been featured on Jim Cramer’s “The Street”, Yahoo Finance, Rolling Out Magazine, CNBC, Fox News, ABC, Huffington Post, Glamour Magazine, and Forbes.

Rob Boyd is a former financial advisor & real estate economist turned financial education specialist and speaker. As a native of Durham, NC, known for its “Black Wall Street”,  he’s overcome challenges that plague many undeserved communities as well as learned the power of entrepreneurship.  Growing up in an environment with unfavorable realities of close friends affected by gun violence and incarceration sparked his fire to break the mold. Fortunately his commitment to sports as a youth, mainly basketball, prevented similar obstacles and prepared him for the opportunity to attend Howard University. 

At Howard University, Rob’s uncanny understanding of financial concepts was discovered. His career started as most would hope, a job related to my collegiate major. However, Rob was not satisfied. He pursued a Master’s in Real Estate from Georgetown University to elevate his career in finance, real estate, and economics. In the midst of his graduate experience, Rob made the decision to become an entrepreneur. During the transition, he made a pit-stop in federal banking to educate regional and national banks on how to better serve low-to-moderate income communities. Rob’s passion to empower others with the confidence and knowledge to create legacy dwarfed his desire to have a traditional finance career. Now, as a financial educator, he uses his story and expertise to equip middle school students, high school students and adults with wealth building skills. Rob has shared his story of perseverance and triumph with many audiences including Magic Johnson’s Bridgescape Academy, Microsoft, Opportunity Charter School, Florida Housing Coalition Conference, and Howard University School of Business.
